Anna Campbell’s A Pirate for Christmas and Her Christmas Earl were two fun and different Regency Romance Christmas Novellas. I so enjoyed the characters in both of these stories. Strong heroines and sexy heroes fulfill a few fantasies for readers. Who wouldn’t fall for an enigmatic Scottish Pirate or wish to reform a notorious Scottish rake? 
The heroines, while vulnerable were used to being in control. One, a strong woman who protects her community when the men who should aren’t up to the task. She is the village darling but the villagers are happy to help the new earl court her. When a night alone in a cabin is inevitable, will they be forced to weather a scandal? The pirate’s unique solution was a marvelous twist. 
In Her Christmas Earl the heroine is also used to being in charge of the family farm but she is undervalued because she is not beautiful. When a scandal forces the rake to marry her, Phillipa worries he will grow to hate her. The twists and turns to this lovely story will move you and make you fall in love with the handsome rake!
