The Seventh Plague by James Rollins sounds like an end of the world novel and with Sigma, it often is a possibility! But this story is as much about hope and the resilience of the world as it is about the failures of mankind to protect it.
I love James Rollins’ use of nature and science to create his fast-paced, action-packed thrillers. He writes books that appeal to all ages and genres. He gives a little romance, a little history and a bit of intrigue for a fabulous combination of fun and excitement!
This particular book references two of my favorite historical people: Tesla and Twain. The combination is great fun and gets the brain cells moving in curious directions.
I love audiobooks and find that James Rollins is one of my favorites. He makes the readers think and feel, teaching without preaching.
As a reader audiobooks offer entertainment and relaxation when a busy schedule henders reading time. As a writer, listening to the characters come alive opens new ways of thinking about my own writing. Style, technique and characterization are unique to the writer and James Rollins has the right combination. If you are going to learn, learn from one of the best!
