Happy Valentines Day

Love is not to be celebrated just one day a year. It cannot be canned or one size fits all. I spent the day grocery shopping with my husband and my mom, not romantic? My husband has the patience to not only take us shopping but to shop with us. He even takes us Christmas shopping. This man who looks like he’s a member of a biker gang, spoils his grandchildren and me. He takes up time with his sons, his parents, my widowed mom. What is romantic is twenty-five years of daily working and living and loving each other. It’s raising each other’s children, surviving tragedies, homelessness and aging. This Valentines Day I’m thankful for who I am spending it with not how we spent it!
