On turning 50

It is the day after my fiftieth birthday and I’m sitting here thinking of the years that have past. I’ve raised six sons of whom I am proud, I been married to my hero, friend and lover for twenty three years and I work three jobs I like. It’s not a bad life. The Scandalous Adventures of the Sister of the Bride by Victoria Alexander

I love historical romances, this one is exciting and fun with characters full of interesting quirks and personalities. I loved the historical reference to the motorwagon and Mr. Benz. I enjoyed the verbal sparring between the characters, Delilah and Sam have a lot of sexual tension. The relationship with her sisters and friend were an added twist. With only herself to depend on most of her life, … Continue reading Werewolf Sings the Blues by Jennifer Harlow

A Shiver of Light by Laurell K Hamilton

This latest offering with main character Merry Gentry aka Princess Meredith shows a softer side of the gutsy, faerie princess. After giving birth most women experience an array of hormone … Continue reading A Shiver of Light by Laurell K Hamilton
