A Southern Christmas

– Frantic shoppers fill the aisles

IPhone talker’s way too loud.

Rammed with a cart

Smarmy elf farts

And a little old lady ran away with my shoes.
Candy canes, cakes and calories galore

A skinny Santa drunk on the floor

Screaming grannies

Elastic popped panties

Another Carol sung off key.
Flip flops and peppermint martinis

Daisy Dukes and Santa suits

Tangles of tinsel

Elvis’ Blue Christmas

School children praying for snow.
Wooden Rudolf aglow in the yard

Presents duct taped under the tree

Collapsed on the sofa

Egg nog hang over

Someone please tell me it’s New Years Eve.

Author:

I write suspense with a hot romance and a southern accent. I like strong characters with attitude and charm. Heroines who can rescue themselves and heroes who aren't afraid to love them.
