Ferrets were both the best and the worst pets. I loved them, they were funny little guys but they were smelly. I had to clean their habitat out every couple of days. They were nocturnal and wanted to play while the rest of us wanted to sleep.

I think the biggest issue was they were more delicate creatures and we had to be very careful with them and they couldn’t use a lot of products we normally used with small animals.

They are definitely not a good pet for a busy household.
