I accidentally hit publish not thinking that it would make the book available for preorder. I was only trying to get the books available for advanced readers. At least I had the presence of mind to set the publication date as July 18th before I messed up royally. I have not decided on a cover, but now the temporary cover has gone live. So, here it is.

Most of the comments liked this image of the rockstar. I didn’t like the background I originally had with him. This photo was taken by Peggy Windley Mays of Indian Island. It fits the image of Teach’s Island, except my fictional island is much larger. I like the contrast of colors and after playing with postage stamp sized covers, this one shows up well.
Everyone who gave me feedback on the cover will be put into the drawing. I’m not 100% sure I’m keeping this cover. I’d love to hear what you think. It’s not difficult to change it on most sites but Goodreads will usually keep the original cover even when you send them messages to make changes.
So what do you think? Should I keep the temporary cover as my permanent cover, or do you like one of my other covers better?

These thumbnail versions give you an idea of what people see when they are scrolling for a book. Which one catches your attention? Which one shows up best? Remember this story isn’t sweet even though there are some sweet moments. There is a bit of suspense, drama, and even a bit of comedy in this romance.
I will draw for the gift card next Sunday, June 29th, so get your vote in before then.
Thanks for your feedback, and sorry for my screwup. Sometimes the best laid plans…
And if you are interested in being an advance reader, please let me know. I’ll try not to screw that up too!

I like the cover!!

I ❤️ them but think # 7 works because he has the guitar.
